Just Crazy

I left this morning for a road trip to first stay with my old friend at his new place ( a couple states away :( ), then spend a week with a group of friends at Myrtle Beach.

#1…I am now certain that I’m not a GPS girl. It’s mapquest directions and an atlas all the way for me. Ignoring the mapquest directions and going by the atlas is so much more fun than step by step directions from a mini computer! Or..maybe I’m just cheap/ trying to find reasons not to splurge on a GPS. Either way, I had a great time finding my way down to SC today.

#2…I’m spending the night in my friend’s guest room. I don’t mean his parent’s guest room; I mean HIS guest room. It’s surreal. When did I get old enough for my friend to have his own guest room?

#3…I’m spending tomorrow with one of my greatest friends at an amusement park. I may be old enough to have a friend with his own extra room, but I’ll never be too old to goof off with one of my best friends…love it :)

I have surrendered to The Avengers.

That movie looks stupid, I said. I’m definitely not spending my money to see that in theaters, I said. And now what? I’M PAYING TO SEE IT IN THEATERS TOMORROW! This is what you do to me Tumblr. To everyone posting Avengers all over my dash..you win. BUT..I will blame you if it is a huge fail. You have been warned.

I know what I’ll do in the middle of the night…PLAN A BRIDAL SHOWER!!!

What is wrong with me?! I feel so wired! Why can’t I sleep?

Well I suppose I’ll just spend my time planning a bridal shower. I must say this is kind of fun. Anybody have good suggestions for games/ party favors/anything? The plan is to take a boat up the river to a winery where we’ll do a wine tasting, picnic, give gifts, etc. I want to think of more ways to make it personalized, cute and special for her. Any ideas?
